Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 April 2026
Please read these terms carefully before using FindMaster. By using our platform, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FindMaster, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our platform. These terms apply to all users, including buyers, sellers, property owners, and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use FindMaster. By using this platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Nigerian law.
3. Account Registration & Approval
All accounts are subject to admin approval before sellers can post listings. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Property Registry — Registration
Members may register property items (phones, laptops, vehicles, generators, and any item with a serial, IMEI, or chassis number) under their account. By registering a property, you confirm that you are the lawful owner of that item. Falsely registering property you do not own is a violation of these terms and may be reported to law enforcement.
5. Property Registry — Prohibited Conduct
You must NOT purchase, possess, or facilitate the sale of any item marked as "Missing" or "Stolen" in the FindMaster registry. If you encounter a seller offering an item that is flagged in the registry, you are obligated to report this to the police and to FindMaster immediately. Any missing item traced to you as a buyer or intermediary will be subject to law enforcement action as permissible under Nigerian law.
6. Ownership Transfers
When selling a registered property, the current owner must initiate an ownership transfer through the FindMaster platform prior to or at the time of sale. Failure to transfer ownership may result in the new owner being unable to prove legitimate ownership. FindMaster maintains a full, immutable record of all ownership transfers including date, price, and location.
7. Listings & Marketplace Content
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their listings. You agree not to post listings for prohibited items including but not limited to: stolen goods, counterfeit products, weapons, drugs, or any item whose sale is prohibited under Nigerian law. FindMaster reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.
8. Transactions
FindMaster facilitates communication between buyers and sellers but is not a party to any transaction. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of listed items. All transactions are conducted at your own risk. We strongly recommend verifying any item in the FindMaster registry and following our Safety Tips before completing any purchase.
9. Reporting & Police Cooperation
FindMaster is committed to cooperating fully with Nigerian law enforcement on matters related to stolen property, fraud, or illegal transactions. We may share user information with law enforcement where legally required. Users are encouraged to report suspicious activity both to FindMaster and to the Nigerian Police Force.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the platform for fraudulent or deceptive purposes; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt platform services; create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or suspensions; register property you do not own; or engage in any activity that violates applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on FindMaster including logos, design, and code is the property of FindMaster and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
FindMaster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses resulting from transactions between users or theft of unregistered property. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees you have paid to FindMaster in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to the platform or its users. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting our support team.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the use of FindMaster shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
15. Changes to Terms
FindMaster reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
